This auction is for some great antique items I found all together in a really cool old keepsake box. I'm keeping the box (sorry) but thought I'd auction off the contents together. All items are old and brittle in some way, so will be packed with care.
☑Old goldtone pair of eyeglasses with one flexible earpiece broken off. Good condition otherwise. Only markings I see is on the nose piece and says E S (sylized and sideways) then A in a circle.
☑Metal eyeglass case in poor condition. It has lost most of it's "leather" exterior and has dents dings paint and rust on the metal. The felt interior is very worn and has come apart from the case. Don't know if it's salvageable, but still cool.
☑Small linen bag marked Carrier Co. of Syracuse NY. Has stains.
☑Very cool old Elkay's Straw Hat Dye Glass Bottle with dryed up blue dye and most of the advertising labels still intact. No lid. Took pictures of the bottom makers marks on the bottle too. All you glass bottle people might be able to ID it. Chips fall out when you turn it upside down though! Lol.
☑Handwritten instructions "taxidermy" skinning notes on how to prepare and process Angora Goats. IF YOU'RE GROSSED OUT, PLEASE DON'T BID OR COMMENT. It was a part of everyday farming life back in the day. It is what it is, thanks, and part of what I found in the box. Folded sheet of paper with writing on both sides in pencil and cursive. Some parts harder to read because of tears but still readable.
☑Old guitar string. Don't know if it's useable, but probably not.
