Heirloom classic with clear lemony flavor. Grows about 2 feet tall. Mrs. Burns lemon basil is an heirloom cultivar of sweet basil from New Mexico. Sweet and tangy lemon basil.Very bright green, 2 1/2" long leaves with white blooms make this basil both attractive and intensely flavorful.

Sow 1/4” deep, germinates in 7-14 days. Start indoors, seed 1inch apart in warm, moist soil. Only plant outdoors after days and nights are over 50 degrees. Frost tender, heat loving plant. Full sun. Pinch back plants to encourage branching and more leaves.
Lemon Basil Mojito
Place the simple syrup, rum, lime juice, Mrs Burns lemon basil leaves and wedges in a tall sturdy glass and bash with a muddler to release the flavor. Fill the glass with ice, and top with soda water. Garnish with fresh lemon basil leaves and wedges of lime.
