The listing, Willow Gentian Seed...Beautiful Native Wildflower! has ended.
Gentiana asclepiadea, the Willow Gentian! You'll get lots of seed to grow this gorgeous native wildflower. sow them thinly on the surface of sterile potting mix. Cover with a layer of turkey grit or clean sand. Water from the bottom and place in the fridge for 6 weeks. Then place the pot under lights for germination in 1-3 weeks. Plant out the seedlings when they are large enough into 2" pots and grow on outdoors until they are larege enough for the garden, usually by september. Or you can place your seedpot directly outdoors for chilling and they will sprout when the temps warm up in spring!
