The Hungarian Wax Hot Pepper is a bright yellow medium sized hot pepper averaging around 5 inches in length that turns red as it matures. very popular for canning and pickling. Medium to very hot fruit . Widely adapted and productive, even in cool weather. Easy to stuff and to peel after roasting; thick-fleshed for frying. This pepper is usually harvested before maturity when still yellow. It measures between 4"-6" inches in length (10-15cm) which tapers to a rounded point. Upon maturity, the pepper becomes orange then red in color. Due to the ease of cultivation and the productivity of the plant, many home gardeners pickle these whole or sliced in rings.
