Since 1860, Stratton of England has been in the Business of producing QUALITY Ladies Beauty Accessories & Vanity items.

Ladies of Class have always been seen carrying unique & very lovely Powder Compacts, Dance Purses & combinations thereof.

This little Pretty is called a "Lipview". It is a flip top Mirror & Lipstick holder combination. The oval mirror is just the right size for you to touch up your lipstick, discreetly, without a lot of fanfare or having to visit the Powder Room.
It measures approx. 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" and has both a Stratton Hallmark as well as a Patent #

The back of the mirror is Enamel & has a unique & quite handsome abstract pattern in colors of teal, white, rootbeer & small flecks of green in the mix.

I believe the Gold toned hardware to be brass & the mirror is in perfect condition. There is some patina on the hardware. This lovely item is over 50 years old & has been pre-owned & loved.
