Very hand little kit for story jewelry for travel! It measures 6x41/2x21/2 when folded up and 131/2x41/2x2/12 when unfolded. It has a section to hang necklaces with 4 hooks and a pouch to let them rest in, then there is a fold area to nestle rings, and finally a covered area with six boxes to put earrings, pins etc and keep them separate and a lid folds down over it and latches shut to keep them secure. Then is all folds shut in thirds and you have the little red and black box in the photo. I used it maybe 3 times on a trip and it works like a charm. It is great to take in your carry on so you don't check your valuables because it is so compact. Materials are all synthetic to my knowledge. Ask any questions if I can help.
