Questions & Comments
For anyone wondering this is an iPhone 3GS on iOS 6
If you have to relist, put "carrier locked" instead of just "locked". A lot of people sell iCloud or passcode locked phones that are unusable, and so when people read locked, that's what their expecting. Carrier locked tells them they just can't take the phone elsewhere unless they know what they're doing or have the company do it for them. This should help get you more attention and bids as well. But hopefully you won't need another relist! Good luck!
I didn't think of that good grief I should have said carrier locked yes I don't know much about Apple phones I didn't have to re list this one though I had two of them thank you for the info though that was duh on my part. thank you though :) and you are fanned :)
Most cell phones sold in North America — especially on contract — are “locked” to a particular cellular carrier. They can only be used on that carrier’s network, so you can’t switch to another carrier without “unlocking” it first.
Phone locking applies to nearly any type of cell phone, from the lowest, cheapest dumb phone to the highest end smartphone. Unlocking is different from jailbreaking and rooting, which bypass other software restrictions on mobile devices.
wow thank you so much for your help I wish I knew more about these I'm so sorry I don't though but awesome thank you for helping :):) jail breaking though I don't have a clue how to do that
