Questions & Comments
I had one of these when I was young. I would spend what seems like hours playing with it. Not even cable tv when I was young. I think that came out in my teens.
I had one too loved it my paper dolls, my dolls and my puppy pull toy that feet waddled when you pulled him on his wheels... those were the good old days :D We did not have cable then, infact we had black and white tv :D
I agree with you all the way. Such a shame for this generation, when I was growing up, the whole family would have popcorn and soda on Sundays after Church and play board games, monopoly, etc. so sad for our children.
It depends, I only wear a pair of hoop earrings and 1 ring...lol. But I do get brooches here and there if my second mother (like my mom) collects them and I dont have that piece for her. I mostly get into seeds, herbs, cooking books, stuff I can use, and have been losing a lot of weight. So I am determined not to keep buyng new ward robes, I just get it here as I go down in sizes, I do look for bleach...not a natural blond lol. And I stock up big time on neutogena Norwegian hand cream because I use that on my face it is awesome for wrinkles. My dad worked in hospitals and even the dermatologist will tell you the hand creams are more potent then the face creams and way cheaper only 2.00 :) Everyone says I look younger so it must work...lol. I also look for stuff on here for my pets and home :D
I can't remember how old I was when color TV came out. I think I was 7 or 8. I remember walking to the variety store with my dad, to test and replace tubes in the TV. I don't think solid state came out until the mid to late 70s. Back in the day when one blue collar job could support a family.
