Cute vintage Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbit two handled nursery mug, a Wedgewood mug. Mummy rabbit is getting her little ones ready to go out. The story on the mug is "Once upon a time there were four little rabbits Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-Tail and Peter."
The nursery mug is in great vintage condition, with good colour, no chips, cracks, scratches or marks. It was made by Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston. Frederick Warne and Co. Beatrix Potter designs. Made in England. It is stamped with that information on the bottom of mug. See the pictures to see this stamp. It measures at 2.75 inches or 7 cm diameter & height. Remember that this china is vintage, it was given as a baby shower gift and has been simply stored away by its previous owner.
