Description

The listing, Peacock Freshwater Dancing Pearls BIG Beads! * TIERED * 58 beads @ 300 credits! has ended.

Winner receives 38 beads in this group of GENUINE freshwater pearls, but a full string (see last photo) of about 58 beads at 300 credits!

These are called Peacock pearls, named because the multi-color reflective finish resembles a peacock's feathers. These are LARGE about 10 mm long, and string like a briolette through a top-drilled hole.

Please be aware that, as I discovered when photographing them, the holes in these are very small, some would NOT fit on the memory wire I normally use for photos.

Free US shipping!

I list at least three new items each night. Watch my upcoming listings at http://www.listia.com/profile/auctions/28303!

WARNING to bidders ... last weekend at least THREE bidders told me they tried to place bids that never registered. Listia's servers slow down many evenings due to the high volume of traffic, so PLEASE consider placing your bid at LEAST five minutes before the auction ends!

I kinda like the way these look with turquoise stones. Have made a bracelet and earrings with them. Great item.... ^-^

Thanks Tiny! I still haven't made anything with them ... need an inspiration. I have some of those turquoise cubes, maybe I will try those!

By the way, I just bought a TON of findings ... earring wires, headpins, daisy spacers, all sorts of things beaders will like. I have some earring wires listed now, but won't get the rest of the stuff for a week or two, so maybe after Memorial Day I'll get them listed. Should be GREAT stuff for listia jewelry makers!

yeah, I didn't know what would look good and a friend of mine bought some turquoise in Coursegold and gave me some. So, I put them together and they actually look really nice. The pearls have a green color to them and that helps. I will post the earrings after the weekend.

Is this the weekend of the powwow? Good luck if it is! I really like your new photo!

Yes, the Pow Wow is this weekend and thanks about the pic. It was taken at the Auberry Swapmeet. A friend wanted to get me with some of my jewlery I took to sell over there. I liked it and hope to go back again soon. That is where I bought some of the stones and findings.

I've never done craft shows, but I'm sure it's hard not to spend more than you make ... LOL. Hope you got some really good stuff and have a LOT of fun this weekend!

yes, I tend to shop more than sell..LOL I meet a lot of new people and some of the elders are more that willing to give you a tip or two to improve your jewlery making. This time, I just want to buy an indian taco and enjoy the dancers. ^-^

I think the ONLY way you are going to avoid spending money at a fun event like that is to simply have NONE in your pocket LOL .... have fun, sell well and spend wisely, grasshopper ....
