Vintage Four-Patch Quilt Blocks. 38 count. Handstitched. Cotton, and cotton blend fabrics. The block measurements range from 7 and 1/4" to 7 and 3/8" to 7 and 1/2" Use "view larger" for a close-up of the patches.Some of the fabrics are lightweight drapery fabrics and heavier cottons, as was often done back then. No scrap of fabric was ever thrown away! Some of the white fabrics have pencil or pen marks on them. It was no big deal back then for many people before the existence of washable marking pencils, or cutting mats and rotary cutters.
This would make a very interesting and artistic wallhanging, or tablerunner!
