This is a blood meter for a diabeitic person that needs to test their blood daily by finger tips. I have one and it works great. As I never did it on any other body parts but fingertips, it does say on side of box you can also use it on Upper arms, Palms and fingers.

Read the box. does not say the amount but shows a picture of them on top of box. without breaking the box seal I have no idea.

A lot of meters Do NOT come with test strips... There should be a list of Contents, possibly on the side panel, top or bottom of this box. If it does not specify how many strips, then there is probably none in the kit. I have been diabetic for many years and have found this to be the way the kits are.

yes you can. this meter was just sent to me 2 weeks ago in the mail.. is a new meter on the market.

With my comment above about the strips, I just didn't want someone to win this, find no strips and file a dispute for misleading info... :)
