The listing, 2009 & 2010 UNCIRCULATED P- and D-mint Lincoln Pennies (10 in all) w/ Possible Bonus has ended.
The year 2009 marked the 200th Anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln and the 100th Anniversary of the Lincoln Cent. In recognition of the Bicentennial, 4 specially designed coins were issued by the United States Mint, each with a different reverse design representing the different stages of Lincoln's life.
The 2010 Lincoln Cent has a design intended to be emblematic of Abraham Lincoln's preservation of the United States as a single and united country.
You will be getting 10 Uncirculated coins total, as explained below. If the credits exceed 350, I will toss in the 2008 Uncirculated P & D-minted Lincoln pennies, the last year of the old reverse. They will each come in a 2x2 cardboard flip to protect the coins.
2009 P & D of each of the 4 reverse designs (8 coins):
- Obverse: profile of Abraham Lincoln
- Reverse:
1. Birth in Kentucky
2. Formative Years

2010 P & D Shield Cent (2 coins):
- Obverse: profile of Abraham Lincoln
- Reverse: Features the union shield with thirteen vertical stripes joined by a single horizontal bar at the top with the inscription "E Pluribus Unum" This symbolizes the original thirteen states joined together in a single compact union. A scroll appears across the shield with the denomination "One Cent" and "United States of America" appears above the shield.
