The listing, Space Filler 1859 Canadian Large Cent - Free Shipping US and Canada has ended.

This is an 1859 Canadian large cent. It has several indentations around it's rim, caused by who knows what. It's not too glaring but still this is a space filler. Otherwise it's a bit scratched but maybe in VG condition.

Free US and Canadian shipping.

BTW - the "penny" is a term technically reserved for the British penny which was worth twice as much. The present animal is equivalent to the American cent of the time

This is only the 2nd year of Canadian Large cent. I just found out that the proper term is "cent" equivalent to the US cent. The British penny was a different animal, worth about twice as much...10 million were made.
