Is that why I see people paying high prices for a couple of blooming daffodils in pots at places like Wal-Mart???? I have often wondered if those same people throw the pots and all away when the blooms fade?????

Well that is true and some people it just plain cheers up after long dreary winters. A lot of them do throw them out but forced bulbs may not ever recover and bloom as they are meant to. I went out today and I have a lone red tulip. Awwwwww.

I am not offended. I have loved plants and grown different ones all my life. I have started all kinds of things from seeds and watched them grow and grow. I have all kinds of flowering trees and bushes and flowers started from seeds and sure it will take some time to get them to bloom and this year I should have at least one of the trees blooming for the first time. For the cost of daffodil bulbs most people will not bother with growing from seed. I don't mind waiting. Tomorrow is another day.
