I'm not understanding your shipping calculations. I did as you mentioned in your description and was quoted $5.66 to my zip 47374....BUT why are you having us mark the regional rate box? Most members here (including myself) live to far for you to ship in regional boxes. The label printing sites still allow labels to be printed for these boxes no matter where in the U.S., but the post office will not deliver them unless they are in the allotted code list from your zip code....normally around 50 miles away or less. I'm not exactly sure, but have used these boxes and know that you couldn't ship me items in a regional box legally. When they first came out, I tried shipping to my sister in Concord NC and since it printed, I thought it was okay, but I was wrong. Just want to give you a heads up so you don't make the same mistake.
*HUGS*
Love the crocs and watching btw.;)

Thanks for your concern! I ship in Regional boxes all over the USA all the time. Regional Rate Box A ships just like normal Priority Mail but you just pay the 2 pound rate for that zone no matter how much the box weighs. This almost always works out cheaper than regular Priority Mail!

Regional Rate shipping began January 2011, and you can only get the shipping boxes online, not at the post office. I use these all the time to save me and my customers money.

The winning bidder will receive tracking information within 24 hours of paying shipping, and they will receive the package 2-3 days later.

Thanks for watching, and good luck :)

Just some creative HTML forms so bidders wouldn't have to enter every value (weight, origin zip code, etc.). If you right-click and view source, you will see the very simple form and can tweak it for your own auctions if you wanted. Cheers!

I always thought Crocs looked silly and I didn't even bother trying them for a long time. Now I LOVE mine. This pRepair line seems pretty nice; I bought the normal sandals and these clogs at the same time and never got around to needing the clogs since I always wore the sandals. Thanks and good luck!

Thank you for your reply to my extended comment. It's definitely something I'm going to have to check out. I've been excited about the new box "c" that they just came out with a couple weeks ago, but would be really excited if I can figure out how to use these to ship anywhere in US. My post office just won't take them if they aren't going to a closer area. They showed me a list of zipcodes and said that the number next to my zip had to be the same # next to the zip I was shipping to. I'm alittle confused as to why it would be called regional boxes if it didn't matter what region you ship to though, but it is an awesome idea to have priority boxes that could ship cheaper based on the weight being that regional boxes are limited to between 15-25 lbs or so and regular can hold up to 70lbs. Sry, I'm a talker, lol...
I learn something new everyday I always say.;) I'm even more tempted to win this now just to bring the package to my P.O. and show them that it can be shipped farther distances with regional.

LOL :) It just sounds like your post office wasn't trained on these new boxes and rates. It's not a regional (local only) box, it's a regional RATE box (rate determined by region). Of course they are most effective for shorter distances, but can be sent anywhere.

I'd love if you won my auction to prove it to them, but you could also just print out the information from the USPS web site here (most important part is at the bottom:)

I created a simple form here where you can enter your ZIP code for shipping costs on this item:

http://perplexer.org/crocship.html

Your shipping would be $5.66. :)
