Cucumbers can grow on the ground, but for longer, straighter fruit and to save garden space, grow in a cage or on a trellis, allowing 1 foot between plants.

Pick at 2 to 4 inches long (about 1 to 2 ounces), plants are about 12” tall. Keep picked to encourage production.
