The listing, TWO Very Old Postcards, WWII , Maybe Older has ended.
The first postcard dates from WWII I believe. It shows a restaurant where service men can relax and meet girls, dance and talk. The picture is by Barney Tobey. At the bottom of the card, it says, "The American Theatre Wing Stage Door Canteen. Stars of stage, screen, radio, vaudeville and music worlds provide food, dancing and entertainment to service men - all free nightly." The card is in good condition overall. There is a crease on one corner and the corners are bent a bit. Note the guy carrying dishes back to the kitchen while he smokes a pipe. Wonder what he'd do if he said something and the pipe fell out of his mouth, lol.
