The listing, Bolivian Alpaca Yarn has ended.

Up for auction is 1 skein of Charcoal grey Bolivian Alpaca by Robin Turner. This is a sport weight yarn, 5 stitches to the inch, size 6-8 needle. 100% de-haired Royal Alpaca.

This is left over from a luscious short-row scarf I made for my son - so soft and drapey - wonderful next to the skin. This was the left-over skein and I did not use much of it - but I can not be sure of the yardage - It now weighs 3.3 ounces.

As always comes from a smoke free home.

Does this yarn felt well? I know sheep's wool does, but I am not sure about Alpaca. Watching. Have to rack up some more points before the end of this one, lol. :)

I've never done much felting so I am not sure of the results. I will be at my knitting group tomorrow and a woman there does a lot of felting - I'll ask her... If anyone else knows please feel free to chime in. will fan u back.

Yes, alpaca felts. You need to hand wash it.
