The image does not show the texture of the shell strips. I don't know if the shells are real shells or excellent facsimiles. Nevertheless they exude a pearl-like effect and are about 1mm thick. The shells' average length is a little over an inch long. Plastic white beads separate each shell, and they measure about 3mm.

A silvertone lobster claw clasp is the necklace's closure. A generous 3" extension chain is attached for length variability.

This necklace is quite appropriate for wearing on a cruise or for adding to a new Spring wardrobe.
