It is a flower vase..I have one that has cobalt glass. shaped as a teardrop..

how tall is it it looks like a bud vase (2-5" inchs) stand or a vase stand, and there would have been a glass vase like a V shap that slid into this stand

Too small for a poker. I have a stand but it is made different and it has a vase that sits in it to hold flowers. Umberella stand is taler. I truly believe it had a vase in it.

I got your replies saying "ok ty", but still really need the dimenstions I asked about so I can figure out if my deco glass piece will fit in your holder. Can you tell me how wide it is at the top and how tall it is too.. ?

Darn it... It keeps wanting to add a space at the tail end of that link.. There should not be a space between the 16 and the .jpg

It's an art deco bud vase that is missing it's glass. I am an art deco fiend so I know just about everything about art deco, art nouveau items. More then likely it's a type of pot metal that's been plated bronze. Makers loved to mix glass and metal plated with bronze or blown glass painted with bronze.
