Sony portable speakers for mp3. Operate via AAAs or adapter (adapter inc). I had been pretty desperate for speakers at the time I got these, lol. Original price was around $40 and now I rarely use them. Alway how it works.

how they sound?? is the sound quality good and are they loud??

I can hear it in the next room w my mp3 volume set halfway and speaker volume up all the way. Not super loud like a car or anything.
