PCI Went out of bussiness about a year or so They were listed on the grey sheet average grading alway buy the coin not the holder this coin clearly shows the steps of five
I agree, the company who grades it doesn't have much effect on the value of the coin, but when viewing a picture online instead of a coin in hand, I like to know whether to trust the grade on the holder or expect less. There are 100's of grading companies, but most only grade their own coins and grade them higher than most legit companies do. Example, I saw a coin graded MS 63 (uncirculated valued over $100). It turned out to be G4 at most (valued about $2) in person. It was very worn and you could barely make out the date, but it looked great online. This coin looks like it has great detail, but because of the picture, it looks extremely tarnished and looks to be circulated. High grade, but still looks circulated. That's why I try to go by the grading company when bidding online. Don't worry, I still plan to bid on this coin. It seems to have great detail and very little if any wear.
