Description
The listing, PSP Playstation Portable 1001 with extras has ended.
Here is a good physical condition Playstation Portable, 1st generation (PSP-1001). I'm including a vol. 1 Sampler Disc, and the wired remote. Also included is the AC Adaptor, but not the wall plug. I can't get this to turn on, but the physical condition of the body/screen is almost new. I have included a screen protector on it since the day I bought this.

Questions & Comments
what do you mean you can't get it to turn on? dead battery? bricked? something i nor you know?
does anyone know where you can take these systems for repair? my huisband wants one, but i would have no idea where i could have it repaired if i won. thanks!
I don't mean to be a curmudgeon, but I've done everything that is possible with what I have at home, and I'm not really interested in answering every, individual question. I've plugged it in and tried charging it. Nothing lights up. I'm fairly certain this is something internal (and easy to fix), but that is for someone else to determine.
That sucks, 'grats on the new PSP though. These early models are GREAT for modding so whoever wins this should check that out as soon as they get it working and DO NOT UPDATE IT!
In all honesty, it'll probably be very, very easy to work on. I'm not guaranteeing anything, but I honestly did not do anything to damage this. It was never dropped, fried, or spilled on. I just had not touched it for about 8 months, and then when I go to do something, the lights won't come on. Best of luck to the winner! I'm sure this will be enjoyable.
Systems can accidentally brick themselves if they face a problem. Not updating, taking the battery out at the wrong time. The battery dropping. The memory card coming out. The memory card being corrupted.
This sounds like a bricked problem. I'm pretty sure people can fix it, or they can send it in if the warranty is still void.
i have one and bought a battery off the internet that jailbroke the unit the second it was placed in. this model is great for playing older classic games. I have over 500 nes games and 200 snes games all on a 1g card. if this unit wont turn on , it could be from a wire that is exposed when you open the game slot. ive seen it happen and you just need to fix the wire or solder it back into place.
