It's closer to a cherrywood than those pictures make it seem.

Ok I looked again it is between dark wood and cherry, more a middle tone. Hope that helps.

I don't care if it is made out of drift wood. I have got to have this for a jewelry box. God knows I can fill it up, and it is just adorable!!!! Man the old man isn't gonna have any room on the dresser any more!! tee hee. I love him cause he lets me push his stuff to he chest of drawers and lets me have the dresser. <3
