These are never used. 4 packets of durable frosted vinyl sheet templates (6 in ea. - 4 printed, 2 blank (to make your own)) and 3 packets of durable frosted vinyl sheets of precut quilting stencils (6 in ea. - 4 precut, 2 blank (to make your own)).

I have 2 questions, Are quilting stencils used for hand quilting or machine quilting? Also are two of the stencils you have listed duplicates?

The stencils could be used for either hand or machine. You use the stencil to trace the pattern onto the fabric and then just sew. And yes two of the stencils are duplicates, but I found it easier to do better laying out of a pattern and for marking with more than one of the same kind.
