This Stuff is Free Too:
Description

The listing, Sharper Image's Literati eReader has ended.

This is in excellent condition and comes with original box, charging cable, and usb cord. Unfortunately my daughter can't find the user manual. However, it's easy to use and you can also search the internet on how to use it. Below is the description that I got from the internet:

It has an elongated shape with a keyboard at the bottom. Though at first glance you might think it has a touch screen, it doesn't; you navigate it very much like you would an old Kindle model, with a navigational button that's integrated into the keyboard. There's built-in Wi-Fi, and Kobo (kobobooks.com) powers the built-in bookstore. It is preloaded with 25 free classic titles and more importantly, comes with a decent looking protective cover. This Literati wireless reader lets you
flip through pages just like a real book, thanks to its intuitive navigation buttons. With a 7-inch full-color LCD screen this portable reader has an easy-to-read display. The LCD also has a backlit night reading mode, so you can read even in low lighting conditions. It has an internal memory of 512 MB and comes loaded with 150 books,
including 25 treasured classics. It is easy to purchase books for your Sharper Image Literati, as it has a built-in bookstore (kobobooks.com) that gives you access to millions of books, newspapers, and magazines.
It comes with over 150 books that you can download for free along with a complete library of books in it's store that you can buy and download.

Let me just stress that it is NOT A TOUCH SCREEN

And once again it's FREE SHIPPING IN THE US!!!

Goodluck!

Via wi-fi. Copied this from the descdription that I posted above: "There's built-in Wi-Fi, and Kobo (kobobooks.com) powers the built-in bookstore." So with that being said, you can get on the internet and go to the bookstore to buy or download books. It just does NOT have an internet browser like Internet Explorer etc. that enables you to browse the internet like you would on a regular computer, iPad or other tablets made for browsing the net.

No there is no browser. While it has wifi to access the online bookstore, It's just a basic ereader and nothing like the iPad or any other tablets that you can use to browser the web.

can you insert a mem card with preloaded books into it? Or do you have to buy all the books from the built in store?

There is a spot at the top of the ereader that takes memory card. We have never used it though.

Yes it is used. My 13yr. old daugther used it maybe less than a handful of times. It has been reset to factory setting so it's ready for the next owner. My daughter recently got a Nook so she has no use for this one now. :)

i bought one these to use for my PDF format textbooks and it is fantastic! you can turn the brightness way down so it doesn't stress your eyes and feels almost like an e-ink reader. and once you get it all set up and turn off the wifi the battery will last quite a bit longer.

Thanks Chelser! It is an amazing eReader. My daughter loved it too but she prefers the Nook now since all her girlfriends use it too. Teenagers LOL!
