Hello. This is real brown fox collar off of a vintage sweater. I was told that it was brown fox from the owner. Although I am not a fur expert, it is definately real and very pretty. It would look very nice on a coat or sweater. It is lined with a brown quilted material and is 40 inches long and 7 inches at it's greatest width. There are no bald spots or flaws that I can see. It is much prettier than the picture shows and is totally soft. It was well cared for and beautiful, but not my thing as I am not a fur person. I like animals and prefer not to hear from the animal rights people, as this is a vintage piece. We are both a pet and smoke-free home. I try to use recycled mailers.
