The listing, Caged Freshwater Pearl Necklace has ended.

This is a freshwater pearl enclosed in a cage pendant. There are no markings on the chain, so I don't know if it is silver, or just silver toned. The cage is a light weight metal, definitely not real silver.

The cage on this is cheap, but the pearl is quite nice, a slight oval shape (as is typical for freshwater pearls).

You say the cage is cheap..... is it so bad the pearl has a chance to get out of there? I mean if my wife lays on it by accident, is it going to bend the cage so she loses the pearl???

No the pearl will not come out easily. I mean it is made from a cheap metal.
