A popular television show from the mid-1990s designed to foster a love of literature in children, WISHBONE features a lovable and articulate little terrier with a penchant for the classics and a huge imagination. Each episode alternates the "real" events of Wishbone's life, usually centering around his owner, a 12 year old boy, with a parallel narrative in Wishbone's mind. In this episode, Wishbone imagines himself in the role of Robin Hood, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor, after his owner gets in trouble at school for taking the time to donate surplus food to a homeless shelter.
