The listing, 1884 silver dime love token has ended.

Love tokens were made on the reverse of old silver coins in the period around the 1880's. This one has the initials NPC or other combinations of the same letters. As with all old us coins before 1964 this is mostly silver.

interesting piece. And an auction is an auction and just because someone bids and wins at the last minute, it does not mean that they are snipers. Same thing happens at live auctions. He who wants to pay the most, gets the item.

great item BTW! lol got side tract , it is as you say a nice piece of courting , as far as asking for "grade" once a coin is altered the grade is 0 , worth it's weight in silver, the value is in the history it represents of a long ago era and what people did to impress their sweeties! peace
