OK thanks. I only asked because I've won things and they did not say their item was being sent from China and would have to wait a few weeks. That's the reason I asked. Do they use batteries? If so, what kind? These would really come in handy. If there's high winds from a storm, we always lose our power. I have my alarm set so I don't forget or miss this.

They come with battery in them. but use a watch battery. 3, I thinks.

It takes 3 small battery. I am not sure what size. I would have to take it apart.
