no it can't. it uses the film style they came out with in between the 35mm film and then Advantix then digital... I have some unused film for it, but don't know if it's any good, I plan on sending it with the camera. this camera is from 2000-2009, not sure exactly when I got it, just remember I bought it somewhere around then. didn't use it but maybe 1 or 2 times, I preferred 35mm... thank u
