I did not mislead anyone.I said the coin is clad.If i did not say that then it would be misleading. It is none of your business anyway. If you do not like it.Do not bid on it.You just worry about yourself. That is all I ask.
You say "CLAD" Meaning this is a fake coin, a copy? Something that has little to no value and even less in actual gold content...please correct me if I am wrong
As I hope you can tell by the picture this item is not pure Gold but 24 ct. Gold layered. So yes there is gold in it.Somewhere around about a 1/2 gram. Produced by the American Mint this is a perfect Replica of the orignal 1933 U.S. Mint Gold peice. I checked on line and this item is being sold by American Mint for $88.00.
@Mike396....Clad doesn't mean a coin is fake or a replica. It only means the coin is not pure gold, silver, etc. Many valuable american pennies, nickels, quarters, dimes, halves and even dollar coins are some type of clad. Samde, I hope I didn't upset you by leaving this comment, but I can't stand ignorant people running off at the mouth about something they obviously have no knowledge about. I don't know what else Mike commented, but the first one alone was out of line. He had no right to comment to begin with.
True. All coins are clad.To be more specific one might go on to say the metal content of the inside of the coin. With this coin I said it is clad because I did not want someone to think that it is solid gold.Good point. Thanks Benjamin62.I would like to ignore Mike396.He does not know what he is talking about.
watching this and a couple of your other auctions also. if I were you, I would block mike396. Seems he is trying to make your life miserable for no reason. We all know (or should know) this is a replica coin made for collecting only. Good luck!
