I will try to explain how it works,there is are plug ins that go from the Player to whatever device you want to play your DVD'S or CD'S on,this may be your TV,Speakers or whatever,it does not show your DVD'S by itself,it has to be given one of the above outlets,but I tell you it has never been used it is still in it's orinal box,with all of the extras shown.
