The common names are the painted tongue, scalloped tube tongue, or velvet trumpet flower, Salpiglossis plants reach a mature height of 2 to 3 feet, with a spread of about one foot. This South American native loves cool weather and blooms from spring until the plant begins to fade in midsummer. Salpiglossis often produces a late-season burst of color when temperatures drop in autumn. This auction is for 15 seeds. At 40000 the seed count will be raised to 20. At 60000, 25 seeds. I like them. Very unusual. I found 2 oddballs in my front flowerbeds so far this year. No one knows what they are.
