This auction is for the 2001 American Silver Eagle.
The coin has been added to a card by the First Commemorative Mint in rememberance of the 9/11 attacks on the United States. The Eagle is Uncirculated and consists of 1 troy Ounce of .999 Silver. The card it is attached to has some "off the wall" information on what was going on around the United States in 2001.
This is another great idea as a gift for someone just starting out collecting or for those who do collect all items associated with the 9/11 tragedy.
The American Eagle is in a Mint Capsule attached to the card which is in turn inside of a nice plastic pouch for its protection as well.
