The listing, Antique Onyx Coaster or Plaque has ended.

This is a coaster or plaque made out of antique onyx. Oval shape. Size is 5.75 X 3.75 inches. Please refer to label in the second photo. I bought this at a garage sale in the 1980s and used it as a coaster for drinks. Colors may be lighter than in the scans. The front is polished and the back is rough, but smooth.

I've been to Natchitoches before. Lived in the TX sister city Nacogdoches :-) Awesome piece. "Antique onyx" is actually travertine from Turkey. Still a genuine stone :-) Just not black onyx. It's equivalent in hardness to marble.
