The listing, INDIAN HEAD BUFFALO NICKEL LAMINATION ERROR has ended.
On the auction block, here's an...
INDIAN HEAD BUFFALO LAMINATION ERROR NICKEL
This is either a 1926-D or a 1928-D (looks more like the top loop isn't all the way closed, so I'm guessing a '26-D) with a reverse "Lamination Error". I thought it was perhaps a die crack, but a fellow I showed & had a conversation with said it was definately a lamination problem that can result when the die strikes a planchet that has dirt or some sort of matter on it that isn't supposed to be there & isn't an uncommon error among Indian Head or "Buffalo" Nickels, so it probably isn't worth much more, if any, than your average Buffalo Nickel. This one would only grade AG. Happy bidding!
Thanks for taking your time to look, have a great day, & God bless!!!
