This is a new mini tripod for smaller digital cameras like a Nikon Coolpix. It is not designed for larger cameras with interchangeable lenses.It can also be used to hold an position a Web camera.

It is made of aluminum and can be adjusted to stand from 5 inches to 7 inches tall. It is not a full-size tripod - it is a mini (i.e. small) tripod and when folded up can fit in your pocket or camera bag.

The 4th picture is of a HP R707 Photosmart camera attached to the mini tripod (the camera does not come with the mini tripod). The camera weighs 7.5 ounces, is 3 3/4 inches wide, 2 3/8 inches tall and is 1 3/8 inches deep. The total heighth of the fully extended mini tripod and attached camera is 9 1/2 inches.
