It is the 2nd gen IPOD, which is like the son of the mini and the 1 gn Ipod. If you take pix with the iPod on, with the menu visible and show a pix of the back then you can see that it is an iPod and also show that it IS WORKING. Also, there is no video on the 2nd gen iPod.

i'm not too sure; maybe $20-$25 for an Apple charger but you can use universal charges... :):) look it up online, try walmart :):)
