I received this in a ring lot and do not know the ring's history. I don't know if the stone is a citrine, a topaz or neither. I would think that any manufacturer would mount at least a semi-precious stone in Sterling silver. Nevertheless, this ring is marked .925. Sold as is.

In the photos, the setting appears larger than in person. The entire setting is about 1/2" long and about 1/4" wide, at its widest point. It's rather dainty but bold enough to be seen.

I am assuming that the stone is set inside a turtle-shaped set but opinions may differ as to what the setting is. The set is securely encased inside its mount and inside the creature's back.

It's unique, unusual and quite a conversation piece.

The ring will arrive inside a small box inside a padded envelope. I do not carelessly send rings inside letter envelopes.
