Camera looks good and works well. Battery compartment has been repaired. Camera turns on by sliding cover open. Camera can be used with screen or viewfinder to save batteries. Top screen shows battery strength, pictures remaining, Uses 4 AA batteries, not included.

WHY DO I HAVE A MINIMUM BID AND CHARGE FOR SHIPPING?

The short answer is that the post office does not take Listia credits. The ,longer answer is because it enables people to win auctions and receive items. New members of Listia do not have many credits. The free shipping items sell for hundred’s of thousands of credits. Some items over a million. The exchange rate is 27,500 credits per dollar. It’s not uncommon to see auction items with free shipping sell for $20 – $50 worth of credit. New members would have to buy the extra credits and it is easier to send the money to me via Paypal and I will spend it on shipping.

I start my auctions at a minimum of 55,000 credits ($2). Then I charge reasonable shipping.

PAYING FOR SHIPPING:

Auction winners can pay their shipping charge by going to paypal.com and referencing my e mail address (lwghommel@yahoo.com). Then message me and let me know the mailing address to use when I ship your item. Paypal will send me an e mail letting me know you have paid.

If you don't have paypal, it is easy to set up. All you need is a bank account. If you would rather not use paypal, you can message me and I will send a mailing address and you can mail me a check. Check processing takes longer than Paypal and delays your shipment.

As soon as I receive your shipping payment and points, I can ship your item.
