Honestly, I do not know how old they are because i actually uinherited 2 machines with all the fixin's. First, i received a large quanity of the buttons from my grandma sewing box, and her machine is a fully functioning 1948 singer. Thats what she sewed on. Shortly after I inhertited a machine with all the assocorties from my friends mom, who had inherited her moms. I'm 43 years old, so they have been passed around a bit. 99% are in excellent condition. I actualluy took them out of the bags my self , or off the cardboard backings, Very few were loose. I bet that will teach ya to ask questions, LOL!!!! JK, I am happy to answer any questions. Thank you very much, EVERYONE , for your interest.
Thanks so much for your answer that helps a lot. I too have inherited many buttons from my great grandmother's collection and love them and have made a few things for my family so I can pass them down as heirlooms. I will continue to watch and bid!
