Questions & Comments
So weird seeing the Killer in a Royals uniform. He signed a ball for me several years back at an old Senators/Nationals reunion a few years back. Probably my second favorite signed ball ... some people laugh, but my John Wehner (Pirates utilityman who was back and forth to the minors for years) is still my favorite. I freakin' LOVED that guy!
not so weird tho......i was at card convention years ago and bob feller and cal abrams were there ....feller was kinda rude ...but abrams was the nicest guy ...but the best was clete boyer .....he sign son's hat ...shirt, ball cards and was a real nice....robin roberts was too
hey sultan....when i said not so weird i meant wehner....not killebrew (i read that back)....one of my favorite players was a guy named tom shopay...i saw him play when i was real young playing for Syracuse (yankees minor league affiliate)...i remember him speeding around 3rd ...never seen anyone run that fast (i thought at the time ).....always wanted his autograph and tell him he was one of my first baseball memories.
