The listing, Milkweed 10+ seeds has ended.
commonly known as "Milkweed", Asclepias is named after Asclepius, the Green god of healing due to its use in many folk medicines. An important nectar source for butterflies, bees and wasps, Milkweed supplies nectar through five slits in each flower. Visiting pollinators fly off with pollen sacs in a unique form of pollination. Flowers vary widely in shape, size and color, depending on species. The easiest way is to sprinkle some seeds around in the fall after a killing frost and wait for spring. The seeds experience winter and know when it's time to get growing in spring.
