Description

The listing, "Little Cross-Eyed Warp-Head" -Demented Sculptured Baby Doll Face Hand Cast w/Magnet has ended.

Here's one of my "Demented Sculptured Baby Face" solid plaster cast face of a little girl I call, "Little Cross-Eyed Warp-Head" and she has a heavy duty magnet on the back that will allow you to display her where ever your keep your other magnets! What a great addition to your magnet collection -- especially if you like artwork that may be disturbing to others, but you appreciate enough to display.

I hand cast each one individually, paint and embellish them with all sorts of mediums, then seal the front of the face with a thick layer of glossy epoxy. She is a solid cast of VERY sturdy, heavy weight plaster and I placed a heavy duty magnet on her back that will stick to your refrigerator very well.

(Check out my other auctions for smaller "Demented Sculpted Baby Face" casts that also have heavy duty magnets on the backs and a larger one that is wall mountable.)

The fourth photo shows the back, which is flat, and the third photo shows that she is about 3 inches in length and a little over 2 inches wide.

Great item for anyone who likes horror, the macabre, zombies.

This is handmade by me and the ones I have posted are the last I have left after making a combination of large and small ones that totaled over 100. An art collector visiting the area from Chicago bought exactly 100 from me and I just have a handful left with no plans on casting any more.

So -- whether it's a gift for yourself or someone especially macabre in your life you are bidding on a One Of A Kind unique item. If magnets and smaller baby faces are of your taste check out the other 3 magnets I will be posting soon along with the only LARGE wall mountable "I'm Not Afraid" Demented Baby Doll Head I have left!!

Please let me know if you have any questions that I may answer that will help make your bidding experience easier and more enjoyable and I will be happy to do so right away.

Thanks for looking -- Happy Bidding!

Hmmm... thanks? Where are you from? I appreciate the compliment on my art -- these are just the 5 I have left over from when an art collector purchased 100 of them from me -- I had made about 150 in all and was selling them at local art shops. The city I'm from in Wisconsin is awesome -- I love the private university I will be attending again soon for Arts Administration and Music/Art Therapy -- it's a Fine Arts University known worldwide so as soon as we finish up our degrees we can get out of Wisconsin and be assured to receive well paying jobs in our career fields anywhere we go in the world.

I guess, I'm not the average "Cheesehead" people think of when they think of Wisconsin. It's really a misnomer -- there's plenty of cool people in Wisconsin, but also plenty of jerks, just like any other place. I'm glad I could partially break the stereotype for Wisconsinites for you!

Thanks for stopping by -- Welcome to Listia -- enjoy your time here -- it's fun and very enjoyable. I hope to see some auctions up from you soon!!

Take care -- hope to see you bid!! Good luck with your adventures on Listia!!

xoxo

Hi! I really didn't mean to insult Wisconsin. I know Madison is great & I like Milwaukee, too. I just never expected such "coolness" from a midwest artist. I'm from the midwest too. I live in a small suburb of Chicago (Winnetka). It's north and on Lake Michigan. My boyfriend lives in Madison, so we meet in Milwaukee often. It's just that most mid-westerners think I'm radical with my art...see profile pic. I think it's just modern, not radical. Sorry that my comment came out wrong.

I really do love your faces & hope to win one!

Take care.

Oh, no worries!! La Crosse, where I live, is great as I have lived for short periods of time in Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago. It's a great place for the Fine Arts despite being relatively small in population compared to the three other cities.

We are basically staying here to finish up our schooling at Viterbo University, a private university that is absolutely wonderful compared to the other colleges I've attended and compared to University Wisconsin La Crosse (not a fan of state colleges, no offense anyone!)

I believe art should be radical to some extent -- it needs to be different and new and thought provoking to be appealing. I can and have done work as a professional pianist and vocalist (I last majored in performance for both with excellent scholarships from auditions) and I have been doing artwork of all sorts of mediums since I can remember with wonderful success even in this little/big city and the even smaller suburb of La Crosse in which I was raised.

Don't worry about what mid-westerners "in general" think -- I had the art collector from Chicago buy 100 of these and they were all completely different!! If there are schooling opportunities in Chicago for what you love I suggest taking them -- Chicago is wonderful!!

I can definitely relate -- I had to work extra hard being in my late twenties and into my 30s to gain the respect at a private Catholic university of Fine Arts to get the vocal and piano scholarships as well as even more respect to perform at the school's recital hall when I am a very tattooed individual.

Good luck on your bidding!! Thank you again!

It's so wonderful when you stop by my auctions, my dear!! Thank you so much for the compliments -- Oh! and I absolutely LOVE that MochaLattay -- she does "GIN" on SO many of my NYX auctions!! If it weren't for her I would be in the negative credit zone, lol!! j/k!!

Yes, our little 10 month old boy has been walking for over 2 months and has just within the last week decided that he will not crawl or walk, but RUN RUN RUN everywhere with diversionary tactics to get into everything and anything possible!! He's such a joy though -- we couldn't ask for anything better in our lives!!

Thank you -- I love the "Narcotic" Urban Decay eye shadow I won from you -- it's absolutely beautiful and such a fun color -- I am definitely watching that Urban Decay "Fun" palette you have up now -- great auction!
