I am giving you dyed wine red pine needles from Florida. They are longleaf pine needles, the best you can do. I am also including complete instruction booklet along with black sinew enough to make a small basket.

I am a basket maker and have made plenty of pine needle baskets, sold over 400, have won ribbons and have them on Etsy and several galleries.

It is fun and you can easily make something small and see if you like doing. Sinew is easy to find on ebay in various colors. Sinew is easiest to use, but I have used raffia and lots of other materials.

I am going to be published under a new book on weaving on gourds with different materials. This book has many good basket artists and I was lucky enough to be chosen and have one of my basket gourds in it with instructions on how to make it. I've been known as shatoma for years for my basket making. I don't have a web, but I also have a FB page with all my native american art.
