This straightener was used maybe 5 times, if even that much! I have way too many straighteners and wanted to offer some up to you all!

It has a high and low heat setting and also an "off" setting.

@llg930: It takes the plates a couple minutes to really heat up but when they do they are pretty hot. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being smoking hot, I would give this straightening iron about an 8. They get really hot!...similar to the heat of a curling iron. I hope that helped you put some lol :-)

Um I guess as hot as other straighteners? I'm not quite sure since I haven't used it in a while but I'll go heat it up in a few minutes and see if I can't give you a better response :) BTW, it has a low heat setting and a high heat setting...
