FREE: Xbox 360 Hard Drive

k i have a techy question for you kids...(yep, it's an older person)...if we have an xbox 360 and it died because of the rrod, then does something like this gig fix it? geez. sorry to be so anal...can u help? :) or just shoot it. LOL

@brbig7 if you have a unopened 360 and it has gone 3 ring of death. its a simple fix. it costs u $10- $20 to fix it just need to open it up take out the x clamps put new screws were the x clamps were with nylon washers on both sides of the screw clean off the heat sink and the cpu and put artic thermal paist on it and put it back together and it will work ..2 reasons for the 3 ring of death are cazed bye the same thing over heating . the x clamps put alot of strain on the mother board right were the cpu is and it makes it not work just do this and it will :) good luck all this u can get at eba* just serch xbox rrod fix

hey easy with the old comment I'm 40 i would just shoot it a new hard drive won't fix it at all , if you have the warranty you should send it to Microsoft and they will fix it or send you a refurbished Xbox. if not it will benefit you more to just buy a new Xbox then to spend your own cash to fix the old one

Is this what you need in order to play Xbox games on the 360?

you need it to play games online ( multiplayer) the memory card they give you on the arcade model doesn't have hardly any storage to barely play a regular game :)
